Japan – View from the top – part 1
June 28, 2013We did a bit shopping in Japan, I bought all sorts of things from plastic monkeys to hand painted ceramic plates to pudding shaped like boobs.
I thought it would be cool to shoot everything I bought in groups from above, starting with all the little trinkets, bits and pieces I found along the way.
A few of these things belong to Shanie and I and some are gifts, so I’m ruining it for a few of my friends, but it’s all good. I’ll do another ‘view from the top’ tomorrow.

May 9, 2013I went snooping around Urban Outfitters last night and I picked out all the things I would like to have delivered to me in a nice giant present box. We have Topshop and Zara and now we NEED Urban Outfitters and H&M. Not sure who Mr. Big Bucks is that brings stores like this here, but I wish they would ship these 2 over.
Anyway I went on a virtual shop last night, I would of ordered a bunch of these things but the problem is you get slammed with import taxes when they arrive here. I ordered something off Urban Outfitters a few months ago and even though it arrived in good time, I landed up paying nearly R800 in taxes, so whatever you order make sure you really really really want it.
I really really want all these things.

This weekend I pulled out all my yellow shades, the sun was attempting to make an appearance and I thought I would encourage it by wearing yellow sunglasses. Ok that’s a fib, just thought it would be nice to haul out all my yellows and wear a different pair everyday. Looking out the window now it seems like real overkill wearing all 4 pairs at the same time, cause the rain she is a coming. Oh well.
I haven’t bought a pair of sunglasses in quite a while, but the other day when I was prancing around the mall, I found these bad boys for R39.99 at Mr P. I think if 1980’s madonna had to see me wearing these now she would mug the crap out of me. She would look pretty awesome in them in that outfit though.
