I’m always on the lookout for nice new mascaras, ones that will have my peepers popping out of my face. I don’t have the longest of lashes, so when I come across ones that look like they will do the trick, my brain immediately shouts out ‘shop now‘, which I do 🙂

Since having two kids our laundry feels like it has literally tripled, even though the extra member of our family is only a tiny tot! In our house there is always laundry being washed, hung up and ironed, it’s like Groundhog Laundry Day. I don’t often do product reviews on appliances on my blog, but I was really interested in this particular machine called a Spindel which is a laundry spin dryer promising to remove excess moisture from laundry so that it dries faster and feels softer.
At first, when it arrived at my house I was a bit skeptical, I wasn’t sure that this device that looks a bit like R2-D2 was going to make any difference, but I’m happy to say that I was wrong! And before I continue with this post I’d like to make it clear that I have not been PAID to write a positive review about this device, I was given one BUT this post contains my honest opinion about it.
The official Desmond and The Tutus – Lazy Bones video is out and it’s a goodie. It’s full of references to all the old epic shows that used to be and still are on TV, so be prepared to watch it whilst randomly shouting out TV show names that you loved like Telly Fun Quiz, A-Team, Baywatch, K-TV and the list goes on.
I love this new song from Desmond and The Tutus, it’s one that’s a bit close to my heart because Shane wrote it when I was pregnant with Nina James and when I was so ill with morning sickness that I couldn’t leave the house so I watched a lot of TV… I also got to help them a bit with this video, which was really fun so it’s landed up being on of my favourites. I took a few behind the scene photos which I’ve included below for your perusal.
Well done to the whole team that worked on this, you guys did so well and thanks Propstars for the awesome props and location, you guys were amazing!

Trying out a new theme on my blog. Shane sat with me last night and helped me swop over, but I’m feeling a bit strange about it. I think it’s because I have been staring at the same layout for the last 6 years and now it’s no longer there, like a familiar face when you come home after a long holiday. It’s not drastically different, but I feel like I’m almost cheating in a way, dramatic I know, but hey.

My friend Natasha from Raising Men challenged me to write a story about how my life has changed since having a baby and so today I’m writing about how CHANGE came a-knocking on the Durrants’ door a few months ago, not once but twice and how we not only let it in, but we made it our new best friend.
