Amber Smith is currently exhibiting at Wolves, her work is so good, if you have a moment you should pop in to see it. She still has a few original drawn/painted pieces left and all her prints are editions of 10.

Skermunkil has just sent Wolves a whole bag full of pretty necklaces, we have a bunch of pretty geometric shapes and tubes, and silver birds and half moons, but what i’m most excited about are their new ceramic doll heads and limbs. They are hand painted with love and care and I think they are just too sweet for words.
All these little guys and more are at the shop if you are in the mood to spoil yourself.

For the last few months our good friend Hanro Havenga who is super talented with a camera and Richard Krull sound engineer super star, have been filming some of our weekly live performances at Wolves on Thursday nights. Shane also interviews the artists so you get to know them a bit better. They have come out so super cool and I’m so proud that they were all staged in our little cafe.
Shane has set up a site called Howl Sessions (with the help of folk music fans Ben Sherman) that houses all of them so you can watch them there, but for now here are 2 of my favourites.

We have just received some new stock for the bookshelf at Wolves. We now have some super cool Wolves t-shirts that Shane designed. They come in 3 different colours – grey, light navy blue and light red (the red looks darker in this picture than it is in real life). The material is really soft and thin, and they are a really nice fit. They are going for R140 each.
We also have a few fun ceramic pieces for sale. I’m trying to stock the bookshelf with more things to buy and I thought these were quite fun. We have some ceramic owls, the grey ones are actually vases. The ceramic cameras act as pencil/toothbrush holders. The robots are just cool to look at and we have some pretty bowls and serving platters too.
