A while back I blogged about a vey cool book that I got called Couples, which is a series of photographs of couples posing in the same place in the same way but one at a time, cause there was no one around to take a picture of them together. I wanted to make one of Shane and I, so I’m busy collecting photos of the same nature – thought I would show you another candidate for the book. What do you think? We almost got the poses perfect hee. Does anyone know of a cool place to get a book printed and bound? A place that isn’t going to cost me my future’s child tuition fees.

How super mooi is the curtaining around the bed? Haahah this was taken at a guest house we were staying in the Drakensburg.

Mr. Bear Barenfang

We were shooting some print ads in a house the other day near Melville, it was an old beautiful house full of old beautiful things, like this bear shaped Barenfang honey liquor bottle. I mean how rad is he? Why can’t honey today come in a glass bear shaped bottle with a red crown for a lid? Why world, why? The design is so perfect, he would make any home happier don’t you think?

I was so close to accidently taking Mr. Bear Barenfang home with me, I would of if I was a stealer, but I’m not. I just took his mug shot and then lovingly put him back where I found him, safe and sound and far out of the reach of my anti-crime hands. One day when i’m rich i’m going to make all sorts of products that come in animal shaped bottles, tins and containers. Sure people may think that I’m crazy, but i’ll know the truth, which unfortunately will probably be that I am crazy. Oh well.

New eyes.

My friend Emma-Jane has a very cool camera, an Olympus pen E-P1. It takes amazing photos (well she does too) and now I want me some of this camera action. It has an interchangeable lens system and digital back, it has HD video capture and many many more things that I don’t really understand ha! All I know is I played with it a bit when I hung out with Emma-Jane and I see what awesome shots she gets with it and I think my beady eyes need this little box of magic. It’s my birthday soon, I think I should buy myself a little tiny gift.

Anyone else out there own one of these?
