I’m so excited for this years Rock-a-Baby Fair brought to you by the awesome sister team made up of Alex Royston, Bailey Bezuidenhout and Cheska Stark, founders of one of the sweetest Mommy blogs around called Kimmy & Bear.
The fair is the perfect place where moms and moms-to-be can discover deluxe baby goods whilst enjoy delicious food, sounds like the best afternoon right?! Chuck in a hammock that comes standard with a 40-minute uninterrupted nap and you’ve got the perfect day planned. I’m giving away tickets and an awesome hamper, details are at the end of the post!
I attended my first Rock-a-Baby Fair a couple of years ago and bought and saw the nicest things! It’s happening on the 17th (9am – 4pm) and 18th (9am – 2pm) of September at The Tin Factory at 20 Archimedes Street Kramerville. They have fifty creative vendors which have been chosen to participate and you can expect a wide range of products from local designers for moms and their babes.
Some of the labels you can expect are Yummy Mummy (maternity wear and underwear), BENA Loungewear (luxury pyjamas and loungewear), Jean Kelly (nappy bags), Dash of Cute (party accessories), Lullaby Rock (cool baby apparel), Dovetail (baby furniture and decor company), Hello Yellow and Little Moi (boutique clothing), just to mention a few.
I’ve already given myself a spending limit, but I know I’m probably not going to stick to it. There is just something about awesome kids stuff that gets me every time. I just can’t help myself! Tickets are only R50 to get in and you can pre-buy them here of you like. I’m heading through on Sunday and I really hope I’m going to see some of you there.

I would definitely take my mom. I didn’t buy much for my baby until I was about 30 weeks pregnant because of a previous miscarriage. The whole time my mum was buying gifts for our baby but waiting until I was ready to give them to me. The first thing I bought for my baby was a giraffe from the Rock-a-baby fair last year
Both my sisters-in-law are expecting and the whole family is too excited to contain ourselves. We keep buying everything for the babies and worry about food and clothes for ourselves later. Getting all the girls together for this day! Yay!
I would definitely take my sister-in-law. We both recently found out we are expecting our second little munchkins within less than a month of each other. #BestCousinsforLife. What better way to start off an eternal friendship than to buy them some awesome matching goodies 🙂
