Clothes swop = success. High-5 everyone.

August 11, 2011

Jo and I had our very first clothing swop at Wolves last night and it was a roaring success. Damn we collected a lot of things (some that I was thinking of clothes-napping before the time, I didn’t though) for shoppers and for Hospice, so thank you to everyone who came and contributed, it was such a lovely evening. And thanks again to KWV for the yummy wine!

If any of you came last night, feel free to leave us a comment letting us know what you thought of the event, what we could do to make it better, if you want to send us snaps of what you bought, go ahead xx any feedback is welcome xx

These are the few things I picked up, I wan’t really in the mood to shop by the end of the sorting process, but it was still fun x Stripes stripes everywhere.

This dress below used to belong to me and now it belongs to Sazi, looks so cute on her. Thanks for the pics xx And the 2nd dress belonged to Nicki and now Emmaneel is enjoying it.

    How did I miss that?
Anyway I spent a very very large amount at the woolworths sale so maybe I don’t need more clothes.

Do you want to hear something that sucks so hard? I actually dropped my stuff off on monday (I can see a dress of mine in one of those pics) and then on Tuesday night my long standing sniffle became a full fledged flu, and by Wednesday evening I was so naar I could hardly even stand up. I felt like crying and burying my face in icing sugar I was so upset. :((

This may be an odd question, but which hospice are you dropping the rest of the stuff at and when? I didn’t have any clothes good enough to bring to swop (or rather my hoarding self wouldn’t let go of anything!) but it looks like some good stuff might be leftover, so if its going to be at a hospice shop, maybe i can nab it there!

So so sorry you got sick, which is your dress? I will tell you if it found a good home.

It’s the purple one with the little tie-collar. It’s the front dress in the second picture. If you guys ever have one of these again, I am buying myself a big ol’ tub of valoids and adcodols and ACCs and Advils before the time and even if I have to come flying high a little on that bif ol’ tub, Ima be there. I’d also like to know which hospice the clothes are going to- perhaps I can at least join in on some of the fashion awesomeness retroactively.
