Went to the post office this afternoon to send my Portrait Project parcel off. Lara, your face is on it’s way to you in sunny California, hope you like it and I hope you don’t cry when you open it and realise it looks absolutely nothing like you, but more like something out of Beetlejuice, which is probably going to be the case – you have been warned.
***Guys don’t forget that tomorrow is the day you should be posting off your portrait and please please don’t forget to send it with a tracking number. As soon as you get your parcel, scan your picture in or take a nice clear photograph of it and send it to me, so I can do a post on it. Thanks x
I also picked up another parcel today. A few weeks back I won a cool giveaway on Elycia’s blog, my prize was a few pieces from the talented Kat Cameron. I received a hand painted bowl and 2 of her lovely and imaginative prints. Kat is such a lovely person and so very talented too, so when I heard that I had won I ordered something off her site, so I could get double spoilt. I bought the hand painted red headed plate below, which sadly arrived broken. Damn, sometimes the post office makes me want to cry angry tears of anger – She would of looked lovely in my kitchen.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH sooooo sad! i think someone must have been shipping a baby elephant at the same time as your plate and they put him ontop of your package, no fear another one wrapped in mountains of bubbles will be on its way soon!
