New adventure

Some of you might not know this, but Shane and I are opening up a second shop. A few months ago we decided that we need to start a new project and so we took the lease for the shop right next door to Wolves, where we are opening up a…….noodle bar/bar. Yes, we are entering the land of noodles and dim sum and sushi and fancy gins and whiskeys and awesome.

The last few weeks have been quite a whirlwind of running around for the new shop, trying out recipes, interviewing people, designing wallpaper, picking furniture, buying woks etc etc, but it’s been amazing! And our new little project is coming together nicely and if all goes according to plan, we’ll be opening the doors next week heeeeee. I’m so excited! We’re keeping the name a secret like we did with Wolves, but once it’s revealed I will do a post on it and you can tell me what you think.

But for now here are a few pictures of where we are at, we still have quite a bit to do, but it’ll all be good in the end.

We got Shane’s cousin Luke from Pedersen + Lennard to make our tabels for us and they came out brilliantly. Thanks Luke and James, you guys are the raddest. You can have a proper look at this table here.

We bought our chairs from this company called Chair Crazy, they have some really cool designs hanging around their storeroom if any of you are looking for some cool chairs.
