I have been wanting to go stay in this place called Hillhouse in Howick forever now, but haven’t managed to arrange it yet. I first saw it on my friend Jelena’s blog and now this weekend that’s past Jo actually went and stayed there. She said it was so super awesome and the things in the house were very hard not to repack into her suitcase destined for joburg. Awww man when is it going to be my turn?!

The woman who owns it converted her barn into a guest house that sleeps 12 – it’s basically a giant wonderful wooden box full of beautiful antiques and findings that you can rest your head in. Yes. Just look at how pretty this place is. Can you honestly tell me that you wouldn’t want to spend a weekend and a few long table breakfasts here.

The bedroom below is my most favourite part.

Jo came back baring a small bag of gifts for me heee. Spoiled AGAIN. Whoo!
