On Saturday I went past the Food Wine Design Fair in Hyde Park. I arrived with an empty stomach and went home with a happy food baby, amongst other things. I tried out all sorts of food from roasted pork belly, to raviolli, to frozen yoghurt, to oysters, to 5 YEAR OLD ham from Spain. Yip you read right, 5 year old ham which was was delicious, expensive but delicious.
Even though the weather was crappy it turned out to be a very cool day and I came home with 2 very pretty things – scroll down to see. If you have never been to the fair and you love things like food, drink and objects that have been designed by designing geniuses, then you should definitely make a trip past it next year.
I finally gave in and bought myself a Missibaba bag which I have been wanting for ever! Every time I see them I swoon like a teenager confused and in love. So on Saturday I decided that I wasn’t leaving the fair without one and this is the lovely I came home with. I think this print is part of her new Jungle Fever collection. Love the repeat pattern, it’s so fresh and unexpected.
Thank you Missibaba for making such pretty things.
I also bought myself this very delicate and simple bracelet from Dear Rae. Her stuff is so lovely because it’s so pretty in such an uncomplicated way.
Awesome!
High 5 for five year old meat! (It could almost go to school…)
Oh and for nice things…
Finally got myself my own baba too. *swoon
🙂
Happy times.
I want a Missibaba bag so baaaad! You picked a brilliant one!
So many pretty things. I am in love with those wooden rabbits…stunning!
