It’s always been a dream of mine to put together a Lucky Pony recipe book, I think about it all the time, how I would shoot it, what I would include. One day when I have loads of free time (when I’m 65!!) maybe I will get around to making one. So when I saw that the ladies over at The Pretty Blog have just come out with their very own Eat, Drink & Be Merry Festive Recipe Collection I was a tad jealous but also so happy because it’ such a nice book and you can see how much time, effort and love has gone into it.
I follow this lot on Instagram and they are always collaborating and posting the most amazing looking things, so I was excited to page through this book with 25 of their favourite recipes from their blog, including a selection of drinks, starters, mains, sides and dessert.
For only $10 you can download the e-book and have all these awesome recipes right in the palm of your hand, which is exactly what I did this morning. The photography is beautiful and the layout clean and simple. The recipes are not hard to follow, which I’m a big fan of and they have a nice selection of delicious looking things that will make you feel instantly hungry. I’m definitely trying out The Retro Trout Mousse, if I can get it to look like the photo below I’m going to high-5 myself into next week!
Also want to give the Caramel, Pear and Pecan Lattice Pie a try and the Chocolate, Blackberry and Pistachio Pie! I’m not going to give away too much of what’s in the book here because I want to strongly urge you guys to go and buy a copy for yourselves not only to support this project, but so that you can have the best damn festive table around this year!
Well done ladies, you did so well!
