KAMERS 2014 market

April 22, 2014

So Easter weekend has come and gone, I really hope you all had a relaxing time and as much chocolate as your faces could handle.

Shane and I didn’t get up to much this weekend, we went to KAMERS 2014 market, which was really nice. I got to see my talented friend Marietjie from Skermunkil and I topped up my necklace collection with the sweet little gold house below. She always makes such pretty and nice things, I could honestly go nuts whenever I’m around her stuff. In her stall she had these amazing little ceramic ghost ring holders that she uses to display all her rings, I wanted to buy one, but she gave me one instead and I love him, he now lives next to my bed and watches over my rings at night.

I also bought a couple of things for baby Shangie’s new bedroom, which we are in the process of doing up. I bought her this extremely lanky grey bunny, which I think is just too awesome and this ‘Yay’ banner, which I’m thinking I will hang above her crib – I’m very chuffed with all my purchases.

All in the all the market was very cool and I think there is one happening in CT too, maybe drop them a mail and ask.

As for the rest of the weekend, Anna-Belle, Craig, Shane and I headed over to Rustenberg to see Shane’s folks. We did the usual, which I love, we stuffed out faces everyday and we napped like newborn kittens. We also played a few rounds of Monopoly, which I haven’t literally played in years, I suggested it and thought it would be fun, but damn it’s quite stressful, it’s like one minute you’re Donald Trump and the next you’re the hobo who probably goes through his garbage at night looking for any hairpieces he may have lost interest in. But it was fun anyway, I just think it may be a while before we play it again ha!

Ok, well hope you all have a good week and I’ll cyber see you all tomorrow… x
