I have a dentist appointment tomorrow at 8am. My front tooth has been very sensitive lately so i’m going to have it checked out. I’m so scared the dentist is going to pull it out. Oh man, if it does go down that way, I’m going to land up looking like the wicked witch of the East whose been deprived of her sweet sweet Prozac. Sad face.
Bought this sweet little horse from Divas the other day. He’s going to accompany me downstairs to the shop for some chai latte and cake. I go back to work tomorrow, but I have had a rad 11 days off doing pretty much nothing and everything I have wanted to do for a while now. Hope you have all had a nice break xx
Last night I had some of my very good friends (Gina King we missed you) over for supper and to plough through 3 bottles of champagne. My beautiful friend Marina (the one on the right) got engaged a couple of days ago and i’m so super happy for her. She briefly mentioned maybe having her wedding in Italy, we pushed for that idea ALL night hahaa! That would be so awesome.
Aaaa man I love weddings and engagements and all that stuff, they make me so happy and teary that I can never have my exact wedding day all over again – what a great day xxx
Last night I cooked my very first all vegan meal too. I made sweet potato coconut Thai curry soup with jasmine rice and it came out really nicely. It’s a really thick soup, so I guess it lands up being more like a curry, it has all nice strong ingredients in it, but when I added the coconut milk (there’s a lot of that) it kind of dulled a few of the flavours, so I added 2 freshly squeezed limes and some salt and pepper, the recipe doesn’t call for it, but I think they made it better. If you do try this recipe out – happy cooking and eating, yum.
* I have forgotten how awesome sweet potatoes are. Wow.
My friend Mr Berry runs a very cool site called we-are-awesome. He takes pictures of people in and around town and then posts them up on his blog, which is all good. But now someone thought it would be pretty funny to create we-are-awful, we-are-awesome’s evil twin brother, I guess. I went to check it out and found myself (hahhaaa) on it too. It looks like it just randomly flicks through all Mr Berry’s pictures and then you get to vote if the person is awful or not. Oh man, i’m not going to lie it’s funny, but maybe it’s because, for now, my scale is tipping in the right direction. I think if it was the other way around I would still be laughing but I would also be so sad that I would probably be using just my face to eat a pork roast dipped in a 2lt tub of vanilla ice-cream. Comfort food.
