We road tripped. We did. Cape Town is far.

Like I mentioned Shane and I are exhibiting at the Toffie Festival this week, so we decided to drive down to Cape Town with Craig (Shane’s brother) and all out stuff. So, padkos – check. Good book – check. i-pod – check. Backstreet driver – check. Sweater curtain – check.

We split the trip in 2 and stayed over in Hanover at a guest house called Ramino. What a cool little place. We stayed in the farm house on the property and in the evening we had a braai with the owners who were Afrikaans and so flipping entertaining. Man, did they make us laugh and they fed us till we were fat happy little pigs. The best part of the meal was the sheep’s livers that were wrapped in a thin layer of stomach fat. Yes it sounds flipping hectic, but they were flipping amazing. Craig and I nearly polished off the whole plate, Shane forced one tiny piece down so that he wouldn’t come across as rude haha. He hated it. The puppies loved us, they were so hoping we would “drop” some on the floor. We didn’t, but we did give them love.
