Here are a few more lovelies that I bought in Durbs. How clever and super awesome are the detachable shoulder-pads made by Danka’s little clever paws? I bought 2 pairs cause I think they are just too lovely. Pale creamy pink must be one of the best colours ever. it’s like you’re wearing new baby skin, but not.
Danka was also selling these amazing sequinned necklaces. In the post below you can see her wearing one. I snatched one of those up too. And she can make clothes, so I guess what i’m trying to say is, if Danka lived here she would be chained up in my cupboard right now with a torch and a sewing machine.
I also picked up a beautiful handmade aliceband from Sara Luckyou Handmade’s stall. This girl must have the patience of a very very….. patient person. Yes. She makes the brooches below and she hand-cuts the shapes and hand-dyes all her own felt. Say what? That’s what I said. I’m thinking Wolves can do with some of these pretties on it’s bookshelf.
Ooh, Angie- everything is beautiful! I love the puffy-shoulders trend. I have a grey shirt from H&M with slightly puffed up shoulders. I love it, because I can wear it with ripped jean shorts, converse, and a long necklace, and it looks nice, but still fairly casual! I also love those pins. Arranging them in a heart it cute (:

Angie, I don’t think you and I should ever go shopping together, we would spur each other on to buy as much as our grubby paws could get our hands on as I LOVED the things you have pictured here. Went to check out all the girls you mentioned yesterday. Those shoulder thingums are THE coolest idea since pop up toasters! wait, cooler than that even!
It would be great if we could get those headbands here in JHB, VERY pretty!
Such amazing clever people! I agree with Lea, you look like a dangerous shopping partner, Angie!
i think we should all meet up one day somewhere that is in the middle of where we all live – so between london and south africa and we should just blow huge stacks of cash on anything, even if we only remotely like it. Yes! It’ll be fun and amazing and just ridonculous!
i like the alice band poof thing! nice!
Can we buy those shoulder pads?
If that’s a yes, then where the hell from cos I want about 50 pairs!
Gorge! x
