Hello Durban

August 25, 2010

Shane and I took a drive down to Durban with my folks for a few days and obviously we had to go on a bit of an antique hunt. Obviously. Jo and I are going again at then end of the month so I thought I would research some stores, not that I would be able to get us back to them, my aunt lovingly drove us around the whole of Monday morning, but I wanted to have a look non the less. Durban you have some nice spots. Nice, nice, nice. I only bought a couple of things, not much, I’m saving my monies for our next trip. And i’m definitely going back for that cheesecake pictured below. Holy crack face, it was awesome! I had it at the organic coffee shop next door to Mooi.

I bought this beautiful Bavaria teacup and saucer and these awesome art deco sailing boat earrings.

Durban has so many beautiful buildings that I want to live in. Wow so not fair. The whole time we were there I kept thinking that buying a holiday place in Durban may be a smart move. An art deco holiday flat. HELLO! Ok now I need to win some serious cash or something to make that happen. Boo hoo. Maybe I can sell a lung, surly you only need one of those things.

Wish I had an address for you, or maybe you’ve been in already? Can’t wait to see what you and Jo bring back from your next trip! WOOP!
