Cool spaces: Lots of white, just not in our house.

This morning I’m doing a bit more running around for our new place, collecting a few things for our bathroom. And to keep in the house spirit I thought I would show you another beautiful home that I came across online. All the white walls, white wooden floors, big windows and moulded ceilings make me so happy. You don’t come across many apartments like this in Joburg, wish we did, I would snap one up in a second.

I really like this place and the way they have decorated it, but what’s funny is that Shane and I are not going white in every room, in fact every room, except for the kitchen is a colour. For example in the dining room we are wanting to paint the walls super light pink and then wallpaper the ceiling with this vintage floral wallpaper that Shane and I literally bought off e-bay 6 years ago. It’s been sitting in our hallway cupboard for all these years and now I think it’s time for it to shine. Some of you are probably cringing right now, but I think it’s going to look very cool once it’s all done and the lights are in etc. Can’t wait to show you guys the end result. We are moving in at the end of the month and I’m so friggin excited.
