These photographs are by Chinese photographer Xiao Zhang, this particular series concentrates on the Chinese coast and it’s surroundings. I don’t really have a giant picture of what China is like in my mind, I have an idea but not a complete picture, thought these were really interesting because I didn’t imagine it to be quite like this.

Now is a freelance photographer, works and lives in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.

It’s really strange going to China, and having an idea of what it will be like. ANd then having that whole idea completely re-arranged in a matter of minutes.
It’s an incredible country.
