Yesterday we were having serious internet problems at work and that’s why I didn’t do a post. I was freaking out the whole day, I can’t believe how much I rely on the internet. It’s ridiculous! And it got me thinking, what the blazers did we do before it? When you had to do research or make those things one calls photostats, you had to go to a building they call the library. Do you remember those? I remember having mini crackers in a sandwich bag in my blazer pocket and every now and then sneakily popping one into my inconspicuous mouth. I mean now days one just sits on the couch with a giant bowl of potato salad and a 2lt Coke and researches all they want, napping here and there, maybe watching an episode CSI in the middle. Oh internet, I love you so very much.

I know! Got home after this horrid day yesterday to um…no internet! No impressed. Then at 9pm when I was snuggly on the couch watching TV thinking I could have a night off…it came on again and so off I was blogging! Hope that this eve is better!
hahah it rules our life and we don’t even know it.
i LOVE the library though. it’s sort of a hallowed space, and it’s free. the one in rosebank has really kewl books as well – and it’s organised in a kewl way. did i mention it’s free? all the books you want, for almost as long as you want (as long as you let them know how long that is) for free.
crazy stuff.
I know! I didn’t know what to do with myself yesterday, I love Libraries but the Internet is waaaaay more awesome! (and more fun cause you can talk loudly while you’re there:-)
Ah, that’s too cool! It feels both like another life and just yesterday, all at the same time.
I used to frequent Rosebank library. I even remember getting Roald Dahl audio books. Used to love those things. And the Sweet Valley High series.
