Tiny dancer, not Tony Danzer.

We all went out for supper the other night to a very nice restaurant in the old part of Cannes. We ate nice food and we drank nice drinks and then we started playing the singing game. Now for those of you who have no idea what the singing game is, I’ll fill you in – you split your dinner party up into 2 teams. Then one team starts singing a song and the next team has to come up with another song starting with the word that the previous team ended on. Hope that isn’t too confusing. Anyway we were merrily playing the game when suddenly peet started singing from the smallest corner of the restaurant, “tiny dancer, she dances for money…”  Yes, he was of course attempting to sing tina turner’s famous “private dancer” – he thought and has been thinking for very many years now that tina has been singing “tiny dancer” and not “private dancer”. Makes sense, if you’re Peet. Well this one slip from him of course landed up being our main source of entertainment for the rest of the evening. Yes, we are simple and a little strange, but we are nice I promise.

And so Little Dancer was born………. and then died (drowned) and then we gave her a viking funeral on the beach and then we built her a tombstone and cross and planted it on a famous statue and then we commemorated her through the medium of dance. Enjoy.

we even wrote her a song, that we’re obviously still singing every 7 minutes.

SONG:
tiny dancer she dances for crumbs
cause nothing else fits in her hands.

i said tiny dancer, not tony danzer
After all she’s a girl not a man.
