I am a collector of many things, sometimes I forget what hidden treasures I have packed away in boxes at home. I was going through some stuff the other day and I came across some of our old family passports. They are so genuine in their art direction, if that makes any sense. It’s like you can’t fake the way they look. I only have my mom’s parent’s old passports which I scanned in (above), my grandfather was so regal looking, it looks like he should of been a star in an old black and white movie or something. Then next to him in my grandmother, she looks so awesome, I love her huge hairdo and I love her. She is one of my most favourite people in the whole world.

Then the 2 below are my amazing parents. My dad is very young in this picture, young and skinny and my mom is smoking hot haha.

These 2 scallywags below are my brother Philip and I. As you can see I was not the most attractive baby on the block. I think if my mom had tried to enter me into any baby competitions she might have been arrested. My brother, the one at the bottom, in case you were still trying to work out which one is the boy, had the most amazing big blue eyes and blond hair and he was the sweetest baby ever. He’s not with us anymore, but we all think about him EVERY single day of our lives x xxx

The last 2 are of my mom when she was 18 – so young and beautiful and my brother when he was 5. I think these all need to be mounted in a box frame together. Good idea? Good idea.

Loved this post, it is so special. I’m one of five kids and I WISH we had passports when we were young for this purpose. Of course, we didn’t have passports because we were five kids and there were no plans to travel overseas – ha ha!

My niece (who isn’t even two yet) has a passport and it’s so damn cute I want to pinch it!

I’m sorry to hear your brother passed away.

reminds me of the time when my mom went on holiday by herself, six kids can drive you mad, anyway i was about six or seven at the time and my dad was in charge. he did our hair each morning before school, braids, ponies etc, and photographed each style each morning! they were skew, lopsided, and awful. but i loved my hair styled by my dad anyway. family rocks x x x
