Hi there everyone. As you may have noticed I haven’t had the internet for a while………shane and I are leaving for south africa tomorrow, which means my one-a-day posts will go back to normal soon x-o-x
Barcelona has been awesome, but we are so ready to come home.
The whole trip has been amazing. We’ve seen such cool bands and museums and galleries and shops and people and food. I would strongly recommend a visit here for anyone whose considering it. I think the only thing that super sucked is that we didn’t get to see Kings of Leon. We waited 3 rows from the front in a horde of people that were literally crushing each other – I’m not kidding when I say this. I was so frightened. I have never felt that way at a concert before, I literally thought I was going to be crushed. Anyway we waited like that for over 3 hours and then Kings of Leon canceled because the wind was too strong. Super lame! But the band that was scheduled to play after them still came on. Lame. Lame. Lame. Oh well I guess that’s life right? Right. Franz Ferdinand ruled and there were a few other bands that were super cool. I’m saving one in particular for a post a little later one 🙂
But anyway last night shane and I got to see Bishop Allen in a small dark little club in the heart of barcelona. It was amazing. No crushing. No wind. Just awesomeness. They are such a cool band, I got to speak to christian rudder after the show – what a nice guy.
