My genius friend Thaya who runs Beatnik Bazaar and owns her own clothing line called Folklore, has just recently launched a line of swimwear that is just plain beautiful. These 1950’s inspired lycra magnificents can be found on her online store and in her shop in Kalk Bay (100 Main Road). I don’t really like going to the beach all that much, lets just say i’m not the biggest fan of costumes and sand and other people looking awesome and burnt beige in their beachware, but I think if I had to have one of these amazings, I would give the beach another chance, as long as I was the only one on it ha! Jokes.

Before I started reading this post, I just browsed through the pics and I was thinking, wow I dnt wear swimsuits (for obvious reasons, haha) but I would so rock these, pity this post is prob about pics from the golden ages…then I saw that they are actually sold at Beatnik…OMG!!!I want one!
