Thank you Shanie pie x

July 21, 2011

My Shane gave me this little bundle for my birthday (how spectacular is the wrapping?). When I opened it I literally squealed. LOOK AT MY NEW AWESOMES. He bought me this absolutely beautiful Scout and Catalogue bag that I have been pinning over and this crazy awesome Apres Ski boat necklace. These pieces in real life are so so pretty. I keep having to stop myself from rubbing my face on the bag. I’m so happy with them and I’m so happy that Shane reads my blog ha! Posted about them here and here.

I’m also very into reading rock autobiographies and biographies, so in my parcel there were also 2 books, Tearing Down the Wall of Sound: The Rise and Fall of Phil Spector a legendary music producer, who was apparently quite insane, he produced loads of famous bands back in the day, but in the end his crazy got him wrapped up in murder charges, his story is going to be an interesting one. I also got a biography on Morrissey, which i’m sure is going to be amazing. Cannot wait to stick my eyes into them. Can’t can’t wait. I love this type of thing, I find these stories so interesting and I haven’t read one yet that hasn’t grabbed me from beginning to end. The last one I read was Ozzy Osbourne’s autobiography – wow wow wow, very cool book. Get it, read it and then lets chat about how insane it is that this man is still alive. He is one motherflipping crazy motherflipper. Yikes.

Shane and I went for lunch and bumped into our friend Terence and Lebo, so we all ate together (Foolsih it was so nice to see you). Terence wrote me a song for my birthday on Songify, do you guys know about this app? It’s so much fun, you have to get your singing face hands onto this it!

I wrote you all a song, click on ‘Awesome’ below xxxxxxx

I have read it and I loved it. Those guys were mad, in fact they beyond mad. But I guess that’s why it was such an interesting read.
