As you know I’m sucker for necklaces, I have quite a selection and I’m always adding to it. I went into Woolworths the other day and found some pretty cool jewellery, which I didn’t hesitate to throw my cash money at.

Thought this geometric piece was pretty cool, I think it’s going to make my button up shirts very happy this Winter. I also found this nice white enamel gold chain, which I really like and think will go so well with a long peal necklace. Back to the shops I go.

I was at the shops over the weekend where I picked up some nice bright items for my cupboard. Found these amazingly colourful 2-toned shoes from Woolworths, which I bought in a light blue and grey colour too. They also had a yellow pair which I think I might have to go back for.

I also found this red floral vest at Jay Jays which I really like.

COOL STUFF

Breakfast and reading.

August 27, 2012

Shane and I were lucky enough to be featured in the new House and Leisure magazine and we got a really nice write up on The Good Luck Club in the Woolworths Taste magazine. Just want to say thanks so much to all the local mags for being so supportive of our projects, I think it’s really really cool of you.

Now if you will excuse me I have a plate of fruit to smash into my face. Yum.

It snowed in Johannesburg

August 8, 2012

So yesterday it snowed real life snow in Johannesburg and we all went stir-crazy. I know to some of you this might sound a bit lame because you get snow every year where you live, but here we don’t. Not at all. In fact the last time it snowed I was about 3 years old and looking very stylish in my white snow jacket. See picture below.

So when it started falling yesterday we all headed out to stand in it like real tourists. It was amazing.

Headwraps tata tat tat.

March 20, 2012

Headwraps seem to be everywhere around me these days, so I thought I would post 2 of my own that I have found over the last couple of weeks. I bought this really cool navy and mustard triangular patterned one at Accessorize a while back. I like it because it has a double wrap and a bow, it’s like I’m wearing a double whammy on my head.

The floral one I found at Woolworths one lonely afternoon when I was standing in line to buy ginger tonic hand wash (By the way have you smelt this stuff? It’s like you’re taking your hands on holiday everytime you wash them.) I lived in this one over my December holidays.

Has anyone else found some cool headwraps out and about? Let us know where, if you don’t mind sharing hee

Maxi maxi.

August 22, 2011

I was at the shops a few days ago and I spotted this maxi skirt, so I thought what the hell I’m going to maxi my wardrobe up a bit. I’m not a huge skirt or dress wearer, so at first I felt a bit out of sorts, but then I got the hang of it and actually quite enjoyed wearing it. This skirt is made out of the nicest, softest material, like heavy t-shirt material and it hangs so nicely and it has pockets, which I love. I kept wanting to skip around with my hands in them.

I think I could get used to these types of skirts. Elastcated waist = lots of pigging out room.

Skirt- Woolworths. Belt-Country Road. Jersey-Wollworths. T-shirt – Trenery. Shoes Mr P. Watch necklace – Leanne xx
