Are you bored? Do you want something to do? Are your hands bigger than your face and smell like cabbage? If you have answered yes to all or some of these questions, then this post is for you.

So here you go guys, some fun stuff to do this week. If you haven’t watched The Big Lebowski, then get yourself over to Wolves tomorrow night (there is no cover charge) for some popcorn and a white Russians (White Russians H E L L O) and then on Friday night get your drawing skills or semi-skills out and come have a beer and sketch also at Wolves. It’s like fun central on Corlett Drive, so hope to see you there x

Geometric loveliness

Marietjie sent some new Skermunkil stuff over to us a few days ago. There are lots of geometric shapes and loveliness. I’m loving the black enamel and gold tubing and the navy enamel cone. Every time new stock comes into the shop my greedy little hands dip into the box before they go on anywhere (tell me you wouldn’t do the same ha) – i’m trying to decide which of these 3 I want, I’m thinking the black enamel tube, what do you guys think?

GIVEAWAY: Elle Deco wants you to have an awesome Pedersen + Lennard post box.

Pedersen + Lennard have just recently designed these super cool metal post boxes, which the nice people at Elle Deco want one of you to have as a gift. But this giveaway is going to work a bit differently, we have hung a green Pedersen + Lennard post box up at Wolves and all you have to do is – next time you come in for a visit, write your name and email address on a piece a paper or a postcard and then drop it into the box in the shop. In a few weeks time we’ll draw a name and this beauty will be all yours. Easy peasy.

Pedersen + Lennard also own Field Office in Cape Town, where there is red box hanging up, so if you live in CT go past and drop your details into that one and if you see my awesome friend Will (you can’t miss him, he has big hair), please high-5 him for me. I miss his mysterious face.

Clothes swop = success. High-5 everyone.

Jo and I had our very first clothing swop at Wolves last night and it was a roaring success. Damn we collected a lot of things (some that I was thinking of clothes-napping before the time, I didn’t though) for shoppers and for Hospice, so thank you to everyone who came and contributed, it was such a lovely evening. And thanks again to KWV for the yummy wine!

These are the few things I picked up, I wan’t really in the mood to shop by the end of the sorting process, but it was still fun x Stripes stripes everywhere.
