New Skermunkil stock has arrived at the shop. Lots of pretty shapes and pieces and they all range from R300 up to R580. I have already hijacked one of the bracelets, I couldn’t help myself. All these shapes mix and match nicely too, which is awesome…Marietjie has sent lots of stuff up so come and check them out xxx
Marsi van de Heuvel is currently exhibiting some of her work at Wolves. She has hand painted a beautiful series of extinct animals and they are all once offs. They are all original and painted on A5 backgrounds and they are only R500 each. The detail on some of them is amazing… You can also buy a giclee print of all 21 animals, there are a limited edition of 10 of these prints available at R1000 each. Let me know if you are keen on any of them or else come on in and have a look for yourself…
Amber Smith is currently exhibiting at Wolves, her work is so good, if you have a moment you should pop in to see it. She still has a few original drawn/painted pieces left and all her prints are editions of 10.
These are just some of the pieces up on display, the show will be closing in a couple of weeks, so catch it if you can.

Skermunkil has just sent Wolves a whole bag full of pretty necklaces, we have a bunch of pretty geometric shapes and tubes, and silver birds and half moons, but what i’m most excited about are their new ceramic doll heads and limbs. They are hand painted with love and care and I think they are just too sweet for words.
All these little guys and more are at the shop if you are in the mood to spoil yourself.

For the last few months our good friend Hanro Havenga who is super talented with a camera and Richard Krull sound engineer super star, have been filming some of our weekly live performances at Wolves on Thursday nights. Shane also interviews the artists so you get to know them a bit better. They have come out so super cool and I’m so proud that they were all staged in our little cafe.
Shane has set up a site called Howl Sessions (with the help of folk music fans Ben Sherman) that houses all of them so you can watch them there, but for now here are 2 of my favourites.
