The other day Shane and I were interviewed by a lovely lady named Hilary for the Sunday Times food section. She came to try out The Good Luck Club and by the sounds of it, she liked us hee. Here is a photo of the insert.

Desmond and the Tutus have just released their second single called Zim Zala Bim, which is one of my MOST favourite songs on their new album. But don’t take my word for it, have a listen for yourself and then let me know what you think and if you feel like it, you can give them some love on their Facebook page.
The boys were shooting their second music video for this album on Tuesday and I popped past to say hi. We got to see the final thing last night and damn is it cool. So here is the song and a shot I took of the set when I went to visit. As soon as I can, I’m going to post the video up, it came out so super rad.
Hanro, the guy who shot the video for them, took this picture of Shane and I for his ‘500 Days of This’ project, which I blogged about a little while ago. You should also check that out if you haven’t already, it’s well worth your time. I’m so chuffed that I made it into the series heee. As you can see, the boys have featured quite alot.
I came across these super cool drawings the other day, they’re made by a guy called Stevie Gee and for some or other reason they make me super happy. I think the top one would look so rad blown up huge and hung on the wall of The Good Luck Club. I have mailed Mr Stevie about the crazy faced creature with the magnieficent hair, lets see what he says.

So we are officially open. Open for lunch, open for dinner, open for cocktails, open for good times. The Good Luck Club is up and running and although it all still feels like a bit of a blur, it’s such a cool feeling to see it all shiny and new with it’s doors wide open (We actually opened Wolves almost at exactly the same time 2 years ago – March seems to be the month for us).
Some of you might not know this, but Shane and I are opening up a second shop. A few months ago we decided that we need to start a new project and so we took the lease for the shop right next door to Wolves, where we are opening up a…….noodle bar/bar. Yes, we are entering the land of noodles and dim sum and sushi and fancy gins and whiskeys and awesome.
