I have just posted up a new Johannesburg street series on itswhatiminto. Hello Joburg, I love you.
The other night at Wolves I met Hanro who is a photographer and all round nice guy. He has started a very cool project called ‘500 days of this’ whereby he takes a photo a day for a total of 500 days. I think collections like these are so awesome. Just such a rad way to document your life, the people you meet and the places you see in an unconventional way. I asked him if he ever cheats and uses a photo that he maybe took on a different day and he promises that he doesn’t do that, he says it’s tempting, but he doesn’t. The next time I see him I’m totally going to photo bomb any pictures he takes in hope of becoming part of this hee.
I went and had a look at this collection so far, it’s made up of some really cool photos. Here are some of my favourites. Click here if you would like to see the rest…
I think I’m going to start a collection called ‘500 days of cakes’, it’ll be me eating a cake a day and getting bigger and bigger with every photo taken. It’ll make a funny gif, probably won’t be as funny for my jean pant though.
Just posted up some new Joburg street shots on itswhatimintio. Look at this little cuite pie, the whole time she was posing all she was saying was “cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese”.
Just posted another lot of photos of people I’ve passed in the streets of good old Joburg on itswhatiminto xx x
Hello Zach, hello Amy.
On Friday we had some our friends over for some supper and chats. It was so nice. Friends are so nice. Shane and I have decided to have way more suppers this year. So friends, you have been warned hee.
Before everyone left I finished off my disposable camera, it had exactly 8 shots left. Perfect.
Look at the awesome little guy Cath and Doug made me. Cath drew him and then Doug made him with his own little dougy hands. He is amazing!
On Tuesday night I got to see my old friends Xan, David and Olie – all super talented, super funny, super awesome guys. Unfortunately two of them live super far away, one in London, one in CT which sucks, I hate that. Anyway back in the day, when we were all youngins we used to hang out together all the time. I have some crazy stories from back then. Man alive those days were fun. I have included a picture of us back in 2004, wowzers 6 years ago! Holy crap, look at my nice baggy jean pant.
* Such special boys, especially the squint one. haha!
