My friend Kristin is opening up her very own Black Betty jewellery store in the Bryanston Shopping Centre, Cnr William Nicol/ Ballyclaire Drive. Her stuff is so so pretty and delicate and pretty and I just want everything. I’m not sure it’s a good thing that she now has a shop I can visit anytime. This simple, but oh so beautiful jewellery is made by sisters Noriko and Akiko Sugawara under their label n+a new york. They’re so delicate but imperfect at the same time, I really like them.
How pretty is the diamond cluster ring below? I found it on Free People, then I went looking for more and more I found. But let me warn you now, 80% of them are quite pricey, some are a few hundred and some a few thousand. Man I need to get myself some fat pockets.
This is Kaye Blegvad new jewellery collection, I have blogged about this talented young lass before because I really like her illustrative style and so when I saw that she had some new pieces up on her site I thought I would share them with you guys because they’re just so damn pretty.
I have had this folder of photos forever and I keep forgetting to post about these absolutely lovely Victorian antique wedding rings. There are always two hands clasped together to symbolise eternal love, but often if you open up the ring it’ll reveal a little heart. These rings are so pretty and such a unique way to tell someone that you will love them forever. Some are rarer than others, but this shop has quite a few for sale if you’re keen.
Just saw Dear Rae’s luxury range on my friend Andrew’s site. I thought the pieces and photos were too pretty now to share with you guys. She will be selling this line at the Food Wine Design Fair this weekend, so if you’re going to visit, you should stop and say hi, maybe try one or two shiny things on.
There are 2 pieces that I love, the little red point ring and the grey one just below. They’re all beautiful, but those are my favourite. I also think the wreaths they made for this photo shoot are amazing. Nice nice nice.
