It’s my birthday next week and when I was in Durban I came across this pretty art deco ring in a antique shop and I figured, what the hell ‘happy motherflipping birthday to me’. It was a bit of an extravagant purchase, but I think those need to be made every now and then. Yes? I also figured that it would be a nice thing to pass down to my daughter one day.
Man alive this ceramic range from Studiomake called the Flawed series is so beautiful, a bit pricy, but so beautiful.
I also stumbled across these enamel lockets and pink silver bow ring that match them perfectly, wouldn’t you say? I think I need to get me some of this loot so they can all hang out together like friends. Yes, that’s a good reason to buy them.
These are such pretty pieces of jewelry and once again they come from Australia. They are made by a label called Golden Ink. Man, these Aussies are clever little crafters.
Lookie lookie at my new gold wolfie that I bought from Divas. He’s quite big, but I thought what the hell, at least I now have a concealed weapon. Yup, I think I could probably knock someone’s block clean off with this sucker fool. Any volunteers?
Last night Shane and I went out to supper with my granny (pretty lady in the picture below). She is such an amazing woman, she’s 86 and still as sharp as a tac and as young looking as a 65 year old. I was admiring her rings, when she realised that I wasn’t wearing a wedding band, just my engagement ring…. she whipped her eternity ring off that my grandfather gave her over 60 years ago and gave it me. It makes me so happy to wear it and to know that it belonged to my gran and it’s something that means a lot to her and now a lot to me. Thank you yiayia, love you so much xxx
My beautiful friend Jo got engaged two Saturdays back to her lovely boy Ty. Look how awesome her ring is, it’s a 1930’s vintage spectacular. I thought I would post mine up too, it’s from the 1940’s and I love it. l love them both. Ok bye bye x
