I bought both these pairs of sunglasses from a shop at the very top of Louie Botha in Johannesburg. They still had their faded tags on them, with their original price – R4.99. I paid R12 each, which is still a flippin good deal. I know you’re all nodding your heads in agreement. I just know it.

*Jo-stubbs van der linde has also made a post about white and yellow sunglasses, but ones that you can wear on your sweater and not your face. confused? me too. Check them out here.

these are 2 of my most favourite pairs of sunglasses. got them in a shop on louie botha that sells old stoves, kitchen cabinets and sunglasses. they are original Coolrays, made in italy. fancy. i cleaned this shop out of sunglasses, bought like over 35 pairs. whoo this was a good good day! the white pair with the purple mirrored lenses are so miami vice slash police academy – when you wear them you have awesome eyes.

I looked through my box, I have 6 wayfarer type glasses. None of them are real, unfortunately, but they’re still cool. My favourite pair are the mirrored, brown turtle-shells. How awesome? The black pair with the lumo green arms are from my childhood, yip still got them. Still got my Forest Friends too, in case you were wondering.

Shane found these sunglasses in a second hand store. They totally fold up and live in their own little containers. They’re just like James Bond glasses. Not only can you wear them on your face, you can totally fold them up, put them in their case and use them as a giant throwing rock weapon thing. Wow what a sentence. I feel dizzy. Thanks Joface and Peet for posing. Seal would be so proud. hehe.
