My friend Doug and I started a band during the December holidays. It’s name: Polony Horse. We have exactly 2 songs that we wrote and then sang and recorded on Doug’s laptop. Oooohwee it’s too much fun to write songs. I get a bit shy when I have to sing, but I tried.

I’ve been missing my friends Gina King and Stan, who both live in Cape Town. So yesterday Joface thought she would surprise me and invite them for tea and some cake. Thanks Joface and Beatris, you guys made excellent Gina’s and Stan’s and this tea party made me very very happy. I have included a polaroid of Gina and Stan and the drawings that Jo made, the resemblance is uncanny, it was like I was actually in the room with them. Love all you guys xxxxx
So today is my blog’s one year birthday, in fact this was the very first post (below) I ever did all those months ago and I thought it would be cool to put it up again as well as play a little game to celebrate the day. Cath and I took our cupcakes to the junk sale on Saturday and we sold our cupcakes at the junk sale on saturday. It was fun. There were lots of people and lots of cool stuff. It’s quite a lot of work to sell cake, it’s definitely a lot easier to eat it – oh well. From now on if anyone wants a cupcake they can mail me and then i’ll make it for them and then take a picture of me eating it. Yes. Thanks to everyone who bought. You guys rule cake face!
last night my friend david (stan) and i went out for supper and then we went for brownies and chocolate volcanoes. oh wee last night food was our best friend. he slept at our house and this morning i decided to take some pictures of him and his pineapple. they were both very good models. i love you my friend. i love pineapples too.
*he is having a launch tonight for his newest book Miss Beautiful. it’s going to be at the corner cafe. come past and say hi if you want to see something truly beautiful – yes, he did good.
So I was saying a few posts back that we were going to cover one of our walls at home with paintings and pictures we’ve been collecting over time. Well, we hammered most of them in the other day and tananananananan! Shane and I are proud like peacocks my polony. Hehe.
