We went on our second #PUMAgram Instawalk in New Town over the weekend. The weather once again turned on us, but the gloominess of the day kind of suited it’s Newtown surroundings, so it was all good.
We had such a good turnout, so I’d like to say thanks to everyone who came out, umbrellas and all and I really hope to see you all on the next #PUMAgram Instawalk, which is happening on the 14th of March.
This series of photographs taken by Ibán Ramón are all about spots that one can stop and rest or fill up at when travelling. Ibán is interested in how the signage for these places form a distinctive landscape and with the passage of time and the abandonment of some routes turn these pieces or destinations into mere traces of the past.
Check out this great photo series called Country Fictions by Juan Aballe who graduated as a chemist at the universities of Madrid and Berlin and then decided to fully devote himself to photography and visual media. Thank goodness he did, because this guy has an amazing ability to capture moments, no matter how small, in such a beautiful way.
My little human is going to be a whole 7 weeks old tomorrow. So far everyday with her has been wonderful, she makes me so happy that I can’t even think straight. Everyday I see a difference in her, the way she interacts with us, the way she looks, can’t believe how quickly she grows and changes. My Miss James is just the sweetest little thing and she’s started smiling now, which gets me every time, it’s like seeing the greatest magic trick ever over and over again.

This photographic project is by Maja Daniels, a Swedish photographer based in London. I came across it on Booooooom this morning and I wanted to share it with you guys, because not only are the photos of these twins really beautiful, the story is interesting too.
This project reminds me of a post I did a while ago about identical twins Maurine and Noreene a story about artist Roz Leibowitz who bought a snapshot collection on eBay under the tag “TX Twin Sisters Dress Alike for 88 Years Photo Lot 100+. She paid $21.25 for the set and they have become an internet sensation. If you like this post, you’ll like Maurine and Noreene too.
