Ok so the time has come, we have picked the Levi’s Curve ID finalists across all four blogs. Each site has picked 5 finalists who now stand a chance to win a private shopping spree/champagne fest in the Levi’s store in Sandton City, where they will also be allowed to bring a friend who will be given their own spending money (in the form of R2000) for the night.

The Levis team came past Wolves the other day to shoot a little video with me, it was awesome even though I feel like such a spazz in front of a camera. They interviewed me and shot me getting my curves measured at the Levi’s store, there is also some footage of me riding my bike and hanging out at Wolves, it was actually fun in the end and I wasn’t as nervous and I thought I would be, reality TV I think I’m ready for you ha!
This month myself together with 3 other bloggers have teamed up with Levi’s to do something just for us girls. Levi’s have come up with this genius solution to help you figure out just what curve size you are so that it’s easier to find jeans that fit properly. You know when you go into a store sometimes and you try jeans on and you come out of the changing room feeling like a stuffed pork sausage on a skewer stick, then all you want to do is go home and eat stuffed pork sausages on a skewer stick? Well on Tuesday I went into the Levi’s store and had my curves measured, which took all of 20 seconds and then the assistant gave me some jeans to try on in my curve size (i’m a Bold by the way). I’m not lying when I say that they all fitted me perfectly first time around, it was pretty damn cool.
There are four categories that you could fall into – a Sight, a Demi, a Bold or a Supreme curve. And all these different styles suit different bodies. Once you know what curve you are there are an array of cool jeans to choose from within your curve bracket. Best part is, the service is free and it’s super quick and easy. If you don’t have time to go into a Levi’s store to have yourself measured, you can also do it online right here.
And this is where the competition part comes in. You know how we girls like to shop? Well Levi’s are giving away not one, but a few shopping sprees, the final one being worth a whopping R10 000.
All you have to do is –
1. Go to a Levi’s store and get your curve measured, OR simple determine your curve yourself by clicking here.
2. Then take a full length photo of yourself showing off your ‘curves’. So a photo of yourself looking nice in a pair of jeans (you can take it on your phone if you want, but try make it nice). Then attach it to the form below, in step 3.
3. Fill out and submit this form.
4. Each blog will choose 5 top entries, then on the 26th August you must get all your friends and family to vote for you.
Prizes
If you win the above round you automatically get a R5000 spree for yourself and R2000 shopping spree for a friend to spend on a special VIP night at the Levi’s store. We will be closing it off especially for the winners, champagne and snacks will be served and you will have your own personal assistant to help you around the store. Then on the same night one of four winners will go into a draw and stand a chance to win a further R10 000 to spend.

On Saturday night I hosted a Sedgwick’s Old Brown dinner party at my house with some friends. The whole theme of the night was ‘Share the Warmth’ so I asked another friend of mine Jono Hall, who is a brilliant chef to come on over and cook with this idea in mind. He made us a 4-course meal, which was super delicious, I’m still dreaming about the doughnut STARTER. Yes the starter was made up of mini doughnuts, cream, melted chilli chocolate, pomegranates and a shot of Sedgwick’s Old Brown on the side, I would of been happy to just have that for supper, in fact at this stage I was wishing none of the guests had arrived so I could of just ploughed through all 10 servings.
