You guys know how much I love my friend Amy’s label Jane Sews, I just think she has done so well for herself and continues to design and create such pretty things for girls and speaking of pretty things, Amy sent me some sneak peak pics of her latest Jane Sews Winter 2014 collection – looks like we’re all in for a treat, not only are there more lovely garments and bags to lust after, but she’s introduced some awesome hats too. Yes!

The other day Grazia magazine visited me at my house. They came to take pictures of what I would wear to a Christmas party that I would host. Now, those of you that know me well, know that I’m not a very dressy-up kind of person. I don’t wear heels and I like to feel comfortable and myself at all times and so I opted for a long black skirt, my new top from Country Road, which I love because the shoulders are puffy and I flipping love puffy shoulders (don’t ask me why). I also decided to wear 3 of my favourite local designers, Jane Sews shoes, a bracelet from Skermunkil and a necklace from Dear Rae.
So I thought I would show you guys the insert (thanks Grazia) and show you my nice new top and some nice new sandals I picked up at Mr Price, incase you were looking for puffy sleeves and some new sandals xx
So it is nearly Christmas time, it’s nearly time for all of us (hopefully most of us) to go on holiday and forget about all work related responsibilities and just eat as much food as humanly possible. Well, this is at least what I plan on doing in the the next couple of weeks, for a couple of weeks.
But before I stock up on elasticated waist pants for the holidays, I thought I would host one final bonanza of a giveaway on my blog just to say thanks to all the awesome support that you have shown this Lucky Pony over the years AND to showcase some of my most favourite favourite LOCAL designers, whose stuff I think is beyond awesome and would all be very welcome in my present stash.
So there are so two cool things happening very soon, they both involve cool clothing and your credit card buying this said cool clothing.
One is Jane Sews pop-up shop in Durban at The Factory happening on the 7th of November from 6:30 till late. Amy had her last one here at Wolves and it was a huge success. So if you’re looking to prettify your wardrobe I suggest you head on over.
A box arrived from me yesterday from my very dear friend Amy who designs and runs Jane Sews. As you know I’m a huge fan of her stuff so when I saw a box from her with my name on it, I literally did a little dance on the spot.
Inside she sent me this complete outfit, the skirt, top and shoes, yes I now own my very first pair of Jane Sews sandals and they are just too awesome. The leather is super soft, they’ve been cut beautifully and the every little detail has been carefully considered. I feel very spoilt and I can’t wait to wear my new things, thank you Amy face, you’re the best.
Seeing as Summer has been paying us so much nice attention lately I thought I would post up some stuff that my new cupboard would look good in.
