I’ve been missing my friends Gina King and Stan, who both live in Cape Town. So yesterday Joface thought she would surprise me and invite them for tea and some cake. Thanks Joface and Beatris, you guys made excellent Gina’s and Stan’s and this tea party made me very very happy. I have included a polaroid of Gina and Stan and the drawings that Jo made, the resemblance is uncanny, it was like I was actually in the room with them. Love all you guys xxxxx
Last Wednesday I went to a Desmond & the Tutus band practise. I took some polaroids and some normal pictures of them too (those are coming soon), it was fun. Thanks Kez for the red walls.

We took these before we went out the other night. Man alive, this is one of the last polaroids i’m ever going to take. I only have like 2 or 3 boxes left and then that is that. No more film. Ii can’t find it anywhere. So sad. But how handsome are my 2 boys? Very is the answer.
These are just some of the polaroids I took in Zimbabwe. I loaded a second pack, but I managed to take 2 pictures before the battery in the film decided to die and that was that. I was so sad. but I managed to make some nice instant old memories before that happened. So I was happy again.
My parents grew up in Zimbabwe and I used to go there all the time as a kid/teenager. I hadn’t been in quite a few years so it was cool to have my parents take both Shane and I around to all their old haunts. Zimbabwe is such a cool place, I always hope things will get better.
I went to my friends twin’s 1st birthday party on saturday. Being a kid rules face. You can scream and shout and people think it’s cute. You can shove both your hands and feet into your birthday cake and people think it’s cute. You can pee in your pants and people think it’s cute. Aaaaa man, gone are the good old days.
Look at the baby Converse – a group of us got the kids each a pair. So awesome! My kid is going to have a pair in every colour and it’s going to dance with me everyday. It will! It will!
My polaroid camera wasn’t working, but now it is, which means i’m flippin happy and to show you how happy I am, I thought I would post some pictures up. the top one is from the games night we had last night, which just by the way was so awesome. pizza + boardgames + friends + mysteries = awesomeradamazing.
