Nutella-Cookies

Salted Caramel + Nutella Stuffed Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

These awesome looking baked goods and sweets that would make any pudding compartment surrender in seconds, come from a young baker named Izy who runs a cool blog called Top with Cinnamon. She comes from a long line of bakers and is particularly influenced by her Italian-American mom.

I think if I had to see Izy walking down the street, I would kidnap her and force her to force feed me these magnificents every single day.

My friend Adi and I are going to have a choc chip cookie competition one of these days. We both think that our cookies are the best, but we all know that in this world (i.e. Illovo, Corlett Drive) there can there can only be one winner. The recipe that I have tried a few times and love, is this one (click on this link). The cookies come out good every time and not too chewy, which is what I really like. But today I decided to try a different recipe out just for fun and to see if they are better than the ones I swear by.

Tea time with my girls.

January 28, 2013

tea-time-15

On Saturday afternoon I had a bit of a tea party at our flat. I baked some vegan cookies, set out some of my most colourful china and invited some friends over. I haven’t seen these 3 faces in one room all together for a while, so I was super happy to have them all at my house.

We tried out some teas from a lovely lady who came to see me the other day about her product Lady Bonin’s Tea Parlour. She left me some samples and the girls and I tucked into them on Saturday. The tea was fragrant and really nice, subtle but nice and they complimented the super sweetness of my cookies well. I’m getting some of this tea into Wolves soon, you must come try it out if you like.

Chocolate chip M&M’s and pecan nut cookies

June 14, 2012

Last night I tried out this M&M, chocolate chip, peacan nut cookie recipe. The cookies came out chewy, soft, chocolately and super delicious. I had to stop myself from eating a fourth one because I knew my body was about to go into sugar overload and bitch slap my insides.

These were easy to make and even easier to eat. Hope some of you try them out… Thanks Stephanie for the recipe and the good times I had by myself taste testing the bejeezers out of these.

It’s nearly my birthday.

June 12, 2012

It’s nearly my birthday and I would very much like it if someone and it can be anyone really, threw me a surprise birthday party that looked like this.

Now this is one shindig I wish I was sugar overloading in the middle of – it’s so pretty. Emilie Griottes (from the post below) helped with the catering for this event and My Little Day took care of the decorations. To. Much. Prettiness.

I would also like this cookie ferris wheel. A thanks yous.
