my genius friend Stan (david) Engelbrecht has together, with his friend Nic Grobler taken an awesome and still growing series of portraits of people with their bicycles. they’ve been shooting the entire project from their own bicycles, while they travel around the country finding people. man, what a cool project. they are calling it Bicycle Portraits, click on the link and go check out the projects process so far, the pictures are really well taken and the stories short and interesting. what they want to do now is try find funding to make these pictures into a self-published full colour hard-cover photographic book. if you think you could help make this happen, click here and pledge. you can donate as little as $1 if you want…. i think that would be R7.50 well flipping spent x x check out my comments link to see exactly how the pledge system works x
*what i love about my friend stan the most, is that he does all things he really wants to do. he works for himself, he takes beautiful photographs and he lives his life the way he wants, with no one telling him what to do, or what he can’t do. he is one of the most inspirational people i have ever met and i really hope he gets to make this book happen. love you my friend. and well done, so far it’s all looking amazing x x
