Secrets and girlie looking Santas.

December 14, 2011

Last night us girls had a secret Santa party at Wolves. It involved many pizzas, many champagnes, many desserts and many presents – those are 4 of my most favourite words ever. We each bought a present (budget was R200) and then we drew names to see who got who’s gift.

This is what I bought for my parcel. A Amber Jones handbag, I actually landed up buying 2 because my greedy little face felt left out. It has an adjustable strap which is really cool and the colour is amazing. I also found this unusual, but I think sweet, little fox necklace. She reminds me of a character that is a mix between Fantastic Mr Fox and Nightmare before Christmas and I discovered her in the weirdest place, Foshini. Yip, I was also shocked.

Karen picked me, hope she liked her present.

I chose Leigh’s name and in my package I got this great Country Road zip up bag. I have been eyeing them out for a while now, but managed to not buy one every time I went into CR and now I’m so glad I didn’t. I love the pattern and the colours. They have some really cool little bags like this one at the moment and tonight 3 of us got them as presents. I’m super stoked with mine, I think I may even use it has a clutch. Thank you Leigh-face.

The coolest thing about tonight was that amazingly enough every person landed up picking a present that totally suited them, it worked out perfectly and we all got nicely spoilt. Hope you all get nicely spoilt this Christmas xx x Ok i’m off to shoot some Nedbank billboards, in the rain, yikes. Wish me luck.

My very first Missibaba.

November 28, 2011

On Saturday, at the Food Wine Design fair, I was lured into the Missibaba stand by all it’s wonderfulness and I bought myself my very first Missibaba bag. There were so many that I would of snapped up in a flash, but then I wouldn’t have made rent this month and none of them were big enough for me to live in.

I got this watermelon/orange/pinky/navy blue lovely, which I can tell is going to be my new best friend.

Damn it, Miss Missibaba is one talented face.

I think I really want a Workhorse bag, next time The Missibaba train comes to Joburg, I’m going to be on it.

Check out more pictures of the fair here.
