So on Saturday my friends threw me a surprise bachelorettes party. Surprise. It was damn awesome! I was damn happy and I had the best time. We ate and drank and ate again and drank some more and played a very peculiar drinking game called “obilly dobally”. Wow. That is why we all have black smudges on our faces by the way.
My husband-to-be, Shane arrived in a gorilla suit halfway through the night. I thought they had got me a real stripper, which made me flippin worried, but then I saw his golden locks sticking out the mask ha! Oh how we laughed and laughed – a gorilla dancing to the backstreet boys is damn funny. Shane in gorilla suit is damn funny.
We also managed to find our way to a horrible club in Fourways ha! All I can say is that they did not appreciate our synchronised dancing or our smudged faces, or us dancing in their dancing cages, but we had fun. And then we went to watch Desmond and The Tutus (obvs), that ruled too.
So all in all, it was one of the best nights ever. Ever. I love you guys. Thank you thank you thank you.
*** my bestest friend Gina King backed me the heart shaped cookies above. She even made the hollow chocolate hearts on top and in then placed a message from each of my friends and mom and mom-to-be. How cool? I love them, they made me cry, but they made my pudding compartment (my butt) very, very happy.
ah did the messages get all soggy and grosey!? i should have thought of that! hmm. well at least now you can eat those too.
