How super clever is this idea from a company called Superfront in Sweden (obviously). Instead of throwing out old cabinets or cupboards in your house, why not give them a facelift? These guys have designed super cool exteriors and accessories that click over your old ones. All their fronts, handles and legs fit onto Ikea’s existing cabinet bases, which are the same cabinets that are used by just about every interior designer today, as well as those who hire carpenters to build expensive tailor-made accessories. Unfortunately we don’t have Ikea here, but I still think this idea is worth sharing, I think it’s super smart and so well designed.
– In short, we design furniture based on a well-established foundation, a concept that allows our furniture to fall into a completely different price category compared to any equivalent found on the High Street. Renew your existing Ikea kitchen or an old wall lined with Ikea closets. Tweak a sideboard or even a bathroom cabinet from our line.
