yesterday late afternoon, Desmond and the Tutus played their first gig ever in soweto. it was a roaring success and a very interesting trip to say the least. everyone was quite surprised to see our pale faces at this outdoor event and we had lots of pictures taken of us ha! but it was super fun. people and especially the kids danced their faces off and the funniest thing that happened was one of the littles asking me if the band were the parlatones. hahaa. wrong.
ps: this is the last time you will see the word parlatones written on this blog. correct.
