A few weeks back I was asked if I would shoot a series of photos for Skagen Denmark. Skagen make really pretty watches and the brief that was given to me was nice and open and seeing as I have been wanting to do more considered photoshoots, I decided to dust my art director’s hat off and I set up a shoot with my good friend Leigh as the model and my talented friend Adi as the stylist.
I wanted all the photos in this series to feel effortless, but considered and I really wanted them to have a haunting feeling but in a good way. We spent a whole afternoon getting these photos just right and even though I had bruised knees afterwards and Leigh was literally bruised from head to toe, we had so much fun shooting them and I cannot wait to plan and photograph more projects like this.
In fact off this shoot, my friend Adi and I started a creative collective called Churche which we are planning to shoot a whole lot more projects just like this one under. So if anyone is keen to get in touch with us, just drop me a mail.
I uploaded this series bit by bit onto my Instagram account, but I thought I would do a blog post and include them all so that you can see them as a whole. If this is the first time you are viewing them, I’d love to hear what you think and to everyone else who left such awesome positive feedback, you guys rock!

[…] After shooting a campaign for Skagen I’ve really felt drawn back to my photographic and art direction roots and my goal for this year is to shoot as many cool stories as I can and seeing as I’m a big fan of local labels I’m aiming for the majority of them to all be local products. So out of this wanting to do more creative stuff my friend Adi (who is a stylist) and I have formed a collective and under this label we hope to create and share loads of projects with you really soon. WOW, Pics are amazing, forget about the watches.
Thanks so much, I appreciate it 🙂
