These are 3 of my most favourite silver pieces that I own. The dog head my friend Cath gave me, the airplane I found at the Sandton Antique Fair and the ship I spotted at the strange little market that happens just off Long street in Cape Town near the antique arcade. The plane and dog are both brooches, I’m not too sure what the ship is, a napkin ring maybe? I like holding these trinkets in my hands and staring at them swaying to and fro while I sing Bryan Adam songs. Yes.

the boat is my absolute favorite, but I love the airplane as well.
i’m trying to think of some cool use for the boat.
you’re probably right, i think it is a napkin holder, but I think it might be cool strung up on a necklace or worn as a ring or bracelet (i can’t really tell how big it is)

i have thought about doing just that, cutting the back off and getting it made into a necklace, because for the life of me i can’t tell what it is….
