So little while back I started a Portrait Project on my blog. I got over 100 people wanting to take part. Unfortunately some people bailed along the way (which is not cool, but what can you do), but here are some of the gems that got sent from all sorts of places. The top painting is a portrait of me as a conjoined twin, ha! Love it. My now new friend Lara, who lives in California sent it to me. I still haven’t received the original one, which sucks like a thousand sucky things, but at least she scanned it in before she mailed it to deep dark Africa.
Damn it, the post office irritates me sometimes. I think I have dealt with like 12 different people on 5 separate occasions and everyone has a different answer and no solution for me. It’s so frustrating, every time it feels like i’m talking to a bucket of wet sand. But thank goodness these ones made it to their respective partners and I think they came out dead cool! Nice one guys. Lets do it again sometimes.

hey miss, I deal with the stupid post office pretty often, and generally I call this number- 0860111502, and ask to speak to Lucretia , don’t know if that will be any help but she’s always been really nice and helpful to me!

these portraits are amazing, and i really loved being a part of this project! unfortunately it seems that both the portrait i made and the one my partner made has disappeared in the mail, which sucks. maybe thieving art collectors are working in the post office?
