Postick

June 14, 2012

Postick is is Tatjana’s awesome idea to bring back the art of sending postcards. Basically they are self-adhesive postcard backs that you can stick on anything and turn it into a postcard. I can’t remember the last time I received one in the mail, but I do remember being super amped when I got it, it was from Miss Moss actually…

Anyway she has started a Kickstarter account to help launch this fun product into the big wide world and she would really appreciate your support. So check it out if you have a minute and if you’re feeling kind, you can show her some money love xx

Well done Tatjana, you did good. For more information on how these guys work, read below.

– POSTICKs are white adhesive labels with rounded corners. They’re slightly smaller than your average photograph and they have the normal postcard-backing lines printed on them. The labels are easy to write on with a normal pen.

You could take a photograph of your weekend away, stick a Postick on the back, write a message on it and send it to Bob who moved to Barcelona. He’ll love that! You could take that awesome portrait your 5 year old niece drew, stick a Postick on the back and send it to uncle Harry in Hollywood. He’ll make her famous! You could stick one on the fabric scraps, send it to aunt Augusta in Austria. She’d be over the moon! You could get some of those awesome black and white vintage photographs (of people you know nothing about) from the antique store, stick a Postick on the back, write a note and send it to your hipster friends in Berlin. The options are endless.

Really.

Oooh I want the ‘Send more chocolate’ postcard so bad! I am going to have to save my pennies and help her out – it is such a brilliant idea. If the only the post office knew that she was going to single-handedly save snail mail!

That’s a great idea. I joined postcrossing.com and you send postcards to people all over the world and then someone else sends back to you.
