Package from the Cape Town family

Cath and Doug came back from Cape town the other day and bought with them a parcel for me from my wonderful friends Jen and Luke. In it I found this delicate little deer jewellery holder that Jen picked up at the Design Indaba, she said it had my name written all over it. She was not wrong, if I had seen this little guy I probably would of thrown myself onto it. Thank goodness I didn’t, because I don’t think the person who made them would of been that impressed with me.

I love this little thing so much and the funny thing is, I now I have 2 of them, my friend Jo also bought me one back from CT because when she saw it, she immediately thought of me. I’m so spoilt. I think I could have a hundred of these little guys and I would be the happiest person around.

Also in the package was this amazing typographical piece that Jen’s sister Diane painted for me. I saw one just like it at Jen’s house a little while back and knew I had to have one, because Shane and I totally dance at home every chance we get. We dance at the shop too sometimes, when we think no one is looking. Jen’s sister is so talented and our house is so lucky.
