One more sick day.

May 25, 2010

I’m in bed sick again. I’m so bored with this stomach bug, I wish it would take up knitting or something so it would stop hanging out with me. The only good this is I have some time to finish my book. This is my 5th Murakami that I am working my way through, if any of you are looking for a new author to read, then I highly recommend Haruki Murakami. His books are interesting and strange, but not in a bad way, in a beautiful and dark way. I’m no book critic, I just know that I really love the way he writes and the stories he tells and I hope he never stops…But I’m going to stop, writing right now, cause Sputnik Sweetheart is calling my name…

Hi! I’ve been following your blog for a while and this is my first time commenting 🙂 I like Murakami Haruki too. I see that you have Kafka on the Shore on your shelf! One of my favorites 🙂

    Hope you’ll get well soon.

SO glad to find another Hurakami fan! I literally have 1 friend who also enjoys his books.

But I see you’ve read Dance Dance Dance, but that’s the sequel to A Wild Sheep Chase. (Sheep Chase was my first Murakami, and it’s still my favourite.) Get your hands on it – as soon as you’re mobile again.

If it helps, those of us sitting at work right now – very jealous of your leisurely day…
