Today on Design Files I spotted the beautiful home of fashion designer Arabella Wilson, Chris Wilson and their two young daughters Marlowe and Lottie. This home is nestled amongst towering gum trees and can be described as Arabella puts it as ‘Rustic Robinson Crusoe’.
Shane is always trying to convince me to move into a house and I’m always trying to convince myself that I’m going to love it, but the truth is I’m quite scared of living on the ground, having a garden and burglar bars on every window and door. I wish I could get over my fears of houses because I’d love nothing more than for us to find a real ‘fix-me-upper’ where we can create our dream space. Maybe one day my stupid face will get over this fear and we’ll get to live in an awesome house with an awesome garden that has a conservatory in it! Now that would be amazing!
But for now, I’m just going to lust over other people’s beautiful homes, like this one. Love the lightness of it and all the pops of colours in the rooms. I think the kitchen and dining area are my favourite parts.
